In short: Sprout keeps your habits on your device. We run no servers, no accounts, no ads and no analytics. If you turn on Google Drive backup, your data goes to a hidden folder in your own Google Drive, and only you can access it.

1. Who we are

Sprout: Daily Habit Tracker ("Sprout", "the app") is published by NovaBit Games ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app does with your information. Questions are welcome at mounsifsaliha6@gmail.com.

2. Data you create in the app

Habits, daily check-ins, notes, streak freezes, moods, custom categories, your display name, an optional avatar picture and your settings are stored only in the app’s private storage on your device. We never receive this data and cannot see it.

3. Google Drive backup (optional)

You can connect a Google account to back up your Sprout data. When you do:

Sprout asks Google for the drive.appdata permission. This grants access only to a hidden, app-specific folder in your Google Drive. Sprout cannot see, read or change any other file in your Drive.
Your backup is a compressed copy of the data described in section 2. It is sent directly from your device to Google Drive over an encrypted connection. It never passes through any server operated by us.
Backups run automatically when enabled, or when you tap “Back up now”. You can turn backup off or disconnect the account at any time in Settings.
To delete the backup, open Google Drive, go to Settings → Manage apps, find Sprout and choose “Delete hidden app data”. Uninstalling Sprout does not delete it, so that you can restore on a new phone.

Sprout’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Android backup and transfer

Android may include Sprout’s data in the device backup tied to your Google account, and may copy it when you transfer to a new phone. This is controlled by your device’s backup settings, not by us.

5. Export and import

You can export your data as a CSV or JSON file at any time. Exported files are yours and go wherever you choose to share or save them. Importing a file only reads it on your device.

6. Purchases

Sprout Pro is sold through Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment and tells the app only whether a purchase is active. We never receive your name, card details or billing address.

7. Notifications

Reminders are scheduled and shown locally on your device. No notification service outside the device is involved.

8. Google Play services

The app uses Google Play’s in-app review and in-app update features. Google may process device information under the Google Privacy Policy.

9. What we do not do

No advertising networks.
No analytics or crash-reporting SDKs that send data to third parties.
No user accounts, tracking identifiers or sale of data.
No access to contacts, location, photos (other than the avatar you pick) or other apps.

10. Children

Sprout is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Because the app collects nothing on our side, there is nothing for us to hold.

11. Deleting your data

Clear the app’s storage or uninstall Sprout to remove everything on the device. Remove the Drive backup as described in section 3. Device backups follow your Android backup settings.

12. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is posted at this address with an updated effective date.
